The 450's have a long straight shank with fairly angular bend, they are fine wire so good for dry flies.  The long straight section suits certain fly types such as dry caddis patterns. They also work well for double Hackle or palmered hackle flies eg Griffiths Gnat and Double Badger, and parachute hackles such as the Parachute Adams.

As you can see in the photos, they are very well made with nicely formed eyes and even shape.
